On Thursday, August 23rd, 2012, Queens Community House’s Summer Culinary Camp held its culminating event, Camp Café.  All summer, our campers have honed their cooking abilities, teamwork, and leadership skills, which they have used to open their very own Cafe. The campers were responsible for Cafe planning (menu and pricing, style and theme, dividing up roles) as well as implementation.  Our young hosts, servers, managers, kitchen staff, and cashiers will ran the show, serving the customers a variety of healthy midday snacks and meals.
