VOYAGES Preparatory High School
VOYAGES (Viable Option for Young Adults to Grow Excel and Succeed) Preparatory High School is a collaboration between Queens Community House and the NYC Department of Education.  The school serves students who are at least 16 years old, who were struggling to earn credits in a traditional high school environment.  We help students to graduate through providing individualized attention and support.

We are committed to creating and cultivating a cohesive community of learners that is small, safe, supportive and standards-based.  Our fundamental goal is to engage and empower all our students so they develop the habits of mind that will enable them to maximize their unique academic, social and emotional potentials and live successful and satisfying lives.

We invite a diversity of experiences, cultures, visions, learning styles, and curiosities into our school, and our student-centered approach promotes equity and respect for differences in the classroom, school and larger world.  VOYAGES creates a rigorous environment for learning by holding all of our students to high expectations.
