Hot Spots/Teen Outreach and Athletics

Outreach workers organize and supervise various athletic activities, including football, softball, handball and basketball, for young men and women ages 12 to 18. The program focuses on sportsmanship and building positive relationships with the staff and other participants. Through the positive relationships they build, outreach workers are able to counsel and help guide participants to make positive choices and help them stay on track as they transition from adolescence to adulthood.

Individual supportive counseling and referrals are available to participating teens, along with family counseling, after a thorough initial assessment and screening; call for information.

We also offer leadership development opportunities for young men through the Hot Spots program.
