Community Building and Organizing
Queens Community House addresses employment, housing, immigration, and community well-being by combining individual counseling and advocacy with the development of longer-term, community-based approaches to resolving these issues. Our goal is to enable people to learn the skills they need to create networks and build solutions for themselves and others facing similar challenges.

Our community-building work is concentrated in three key areas:

  • Immigration Program
  • Community Development at Jackson Heights
  • Community Development at Pomonok Houses
